تقدم نادي إنتر ميامي الأمريكي بعرض رسمي للظفر بخدمات النجم الأرجنتيني، ليونيل ميسي، حسبما أفادت تقارير صحفية منذ قليل.

وأصبح مستقبل ميسي مثارًا للتقارير الصحفية، في الفترة الأخيرة، بعدما تأكد نيته بعدم التوقيع على عقد جديد مع باريس سان جيرمان.

وأعلن كريستوف جالتييه، المدير الفني لفريق باريس سان جيرمان، أن مباراة الغد ضد كليرمونت في الدوري الفرنسي، ستكون الأخيرة بالنسبة لـ ميسي.

ويمتلك ميسي العديد من الخيارات، فيما يتعلق بوجهته المقبلة، مثل الانتقال إلى الهلال السعودي أو الدوري الأمريكي، إلى جانب إمكانية العودة إلى برشلونة رغم صعوبة الأمر.

وحسبما ذكر الصحفي الشهير جاستون إيدول، فإن نادي إنتر ميامي أثبت جدية اهتمامه بالظفر بخدمات ميسي هذا الصيف.

وأوضح أن إنتر ميامي قدم عرضًا بالفعل للحصول على خدمات الفائز بكأس العالم، حيث يتطلع النادي إلى بدء الصفقة من شهر يوليو المقبل.

تُقام مساء اليوم الثلاثاء مباراة بين فريقي إنتر ميلان وميلان، في إطار منافسات بطولة دوري أبطال أوروبا موسم 2022/23.

ويستضيف ملعب “سان سيرو” مباراة الفريقين، والتي تأتي في إطار لقاءات إياب نصف نهائي البطولة.

Central Zone clinched the first-ever Bangladesh Cricket League first-class competition title, beating North Zone by 31 runs on the fourth day of the final in Mirpur on Monday.In an evenly matched contest, Central Zone had a few standout performances. Dropped from the Bangladesh side, batsman Raqibul Hasan scored 125 and 68, guiding his team to positions of strength after shaky starts.In the first innings, Central Zone started poorly after being asked to bat first. Raqibul took charge, scoring a century in just under four hours. He made 125 off 204 balls, hitting 18 fours and a six in the process. Despite the big score, Central Zone only made 277 runs in the first innings and North Zone responded well.Four runs short of conceding a lead, Mohammad Ashraful struck for Central Zone with a hat-trick. He had Farhad Reza caught at midwicket, Sajidul Islam out leg-before and Saqlain Sajib caught behind in the 79th over to hasten the end of North Zone’s first innings at 274.Central Zone, too were in trouble in their second innings as left-arm spinner Sanjamul Islam took career-best figures of 8 for 73. A valuable, 74-run eighth-wicket stand between Ashraful and Nurul Hassan swung the game in Central Zone’s favour, giving them a fighting chance.North Zone were set a target of 251 to win and it was within their grasp as long as Jahurul Islam was at the crease. Coming in to bat at No. 6 in the second innings, Jahurul added 106 runs for the sixth wicket with nightwatchman Sanjamul Islam after his side were struggling at 71 for 5 on the third evening. Once the partnership was broken on the fourth day, with the target still 74 away, it was an uphill battle against the accuracy of Mosharraf Hossain and Elias Sunny.Jahurul remained defiant and attempted to pull his side through. But, with 32 runs needed, tail-ender Saqlain Sajib was trapped leg-before by Mohammad Ashraful. Jahurul was out one ball later, caught at midwicket off Mosharraf, giving Central Zone the title.The final was a game of many firsts. This first-class match was played under lights and featured a pink ball, both firsts for Bangladesh cricket. The game was a culmination of a four-team competition in a season where two first-class tournaments were held for the first time. The only downer in this competitive match was the lack of longevity, as the game ended with a day to spare.

Afghanistan coach Kabir Khan believes India can lend more influence and funds to help assist his team

Kabir Khan, the Afghanistan coach, has called for the BCCI to provide more support to Afghanistan cricket, highlighting England’s support for their neighbouring Associate nations.”If you look at England they go out of their way to support the associate cricket nations in their region, which include Holland, Ireland and Scotland,” Kabir told PTI. “They allow their players to play in their county and league system, while giving them valuable assistance through various coaching programmes.”In comparison, South Asia has four Test-playing nations – Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh – [yet despite this] we don’t get the same kind of support, except for Pakistan. India has the influence and money to do a lot for Afghanistan cricket if they wanted. But so far we are still waiting.”There’s a lot of passion for cricket in Afghanistan, and there are good players, but we suffer mainly because we don’t have a domestic cricket structure. We don’t get enough matches in this region.”The Afghanistan team is currently in Lahore for a month-long conditional camp which also includes a series of matches against Pakistan A and several regional sides. The team trained at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore, where they were granted access to all facilities and coaches at hand.Afghanistan will play Scotland next month to play in the ICC league series for a four-day match, two ODIs and a T20 in preparation of next year’s World T20. The game would have shaped into a thrilling finish but it tapered into a one-sided contest after the South Zone batsmen capitulated on the final morning.In fact, the game had been in North’s control after they had bowled out South for 205 runs in the first innings, taking a lead of 86 runs. Saqlain Sajib took 6 for 74, and the impressive left-arm spinner added four more in the second innings as South were skittled out for 278 runs.North had a better second innings than the first, with Mushfiqur Rahim and Nasir Hossain contributing with eighties while Farhad Reza blasted an unbeaten 75. In the first innings, it was Sajidul Islam and Sanjamul Islam’s 127-run ninth wicket stand that gave North a total to bowl at after they had slipped to 125 for 8 on the first day.

Rashmi Parida has been playing domestic cricket since the mid-1990s and during that time he has grown used to being the unsung hero. Whether for his home team Orissa or for the adopted Rajasthan, Parida’s contributions in the middle order have usually been overshadowed by those of his team-mates.When Parida was holding one end up for Orissa for 15 seasons, he was playing second fiddle to the likes of Pravanjan Mullick and SS Das. And when he joined Rajasthan as a professional, his two professional colleagues Aakash Chopra and skipper Hrishikesh Kanitkar walked away with much of the credit for their rags-to-riches story in the last two seasons.One of the few times Parida got his due was during the 2010-11 final, when his 56 and 89 earned him the Man-of-the-Match award. But even though he doesn’t make headlines as much he should, Parida has been Rajasthan’s go-to man over the last three years. And he did his reputation no harm by scoring his 16th first-class century on the second day of Rajasthan’s Group A match against Madhya Pradesh at the KL Saini stadium in Jaipur.With Chopra having ended his association with Rajasthan after two years, and the captain Kanitkar missing the game because of a calf strain, it was up to Parida to help Rajasthan overhaul MP’s first innings total of 256 and keep them in the hunt for a much-needed outright victory. Along with contributions from his team-mates, especially Robin Bist who made 85, Parida did his job to near-perfection. He had failed to score one last season, despite having scored more than 500 runs. “The fact that I couldn’t score a century last season was playing on my mind all along,” he said. “It’s good that the monkey is off the back early in the season.”
