A estreia de Lucas Moura como jogador de futebol profissional completa dez anos neste sábado. Foi em 8 de agosto de 2010, durante empate por 1 a 1 com o Athlético-PR, na Arena da Baixada, pelo Brasileirão, que ele estreou pela equipe principal do São Paulo. Na época, ainda era chamado pelo apelido de Marcelinho e ficara conhecido pelo brilho na conquista da Copinha, em janeiro – ele pediu para ser chamado pelo nome de batismo ainda naquela temporada.

No Tricolor, Lucas foi o protagonista do título da Sul-Americana de 2012, o último do clube. O atacante deu uma assistência e fez um gol na final diante do Tigre (ARG), além de ter dividido o pódio com Rogério Ceni na hora de erguer a taça.

Depois daquele jogo, ele foi para o Paris Saint-Germain, onde atuou entre 2013 a 2017, virou xodó e colecionou títulos. Ao todo, foram 18.

Em 2017, o brasileiro transferiu-se para o Tottenham. E lá estava reservada, quem sabe, sua maior atuação na carreira. Pelas semifinais da Liga dos Campeões de 2018/2019, os Spurs perdiam de 2 a 0 para o Ajax, na Holanda, quando Lucas fez o incrível hat-trick e garantiu a classificação inédita para a final do principal torneio de clubes do Velho Continente.

Ao longo destes 10 anos de carreira, a Seleção Brasileira fez parte da vida de Lucas. Em 2012, ele esteve na conquista da prata nos Jogos Olímpicos em Londres. No ano seguinte, no Brasil, o atacante participou da campanha vitoriosa na Copa das Confederações. Além disso, tem dois títulos do Superclássico das Américas, marcando diante da Argentina em uma das edições.

– Nestes 10 anos vivi momentos fantásticos, só tenho de agradecer a Deus. Eu vivi momentos que sempre sonhei e outros que nunca imaginei que viveria. According to a report by the Daily Mail, Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma’s current ‘priority’ is to join West Ham United across London.

The Hammers have been in negotiations for Zouma over this last week as West Ham continue the chase for a new centre-half.

It is believed that snapping up a new centre-back is now manager David Moyes’ top priority ahead of 2021/22 before he swoops for a striker or attacking midfield player.

Along with Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic, the 26-year-old is on the agenda as this news emerges on the Chelsea player’s stance.

Furthermore, among Moyes’ squad, only Tomas Soucek (6.2) and former Irons player Sebastien Haller (4.2) averaged more successful aerial duels per game than Zouma (3.6) in the English top flight.

The change was caused when the international tournament for domestic teams, which involves sides from Australia, South Africa, Pakistan, England and India, was rescheduled from its original spot after the now-postponed Champions Trophy.The first Test between Australia and South Africa in Perth was moved last month to accommodate the change and South Africa will have a two-day game against Western Australia before the three-Test series starts on December 17. They were due to face Tasmania in the lead-up to the Boxing Day Test, but there is no longer enough space for the fixture.Cricket Australia confirmed the alterations while unveiling their revamped domestic schedule for the summer. Western Australia and Victoria are Australia’s representatives in the Champions League and their fixtures in early December had to be shifted to create the Twenty20 window.The first round of Sheffield Shield matches will start on October 10 while the FR Cup now opens on October 8, with Western Australia playing New South Wales at the WACA. The reshuffle also means the Warriors will have four of their first five Sheffield Shield contests at home. “The WACA will be the centre of cricket in Australia throughout October and November,” the chief executive Graeme Wood said, “and given the Warriors’ outstanding record at home in recent seasons, it will be a great opportunity to burst out of the blocks and kick-start our season.”

Aston Villa will be confident about signing Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey this summer, journalist Luke Hatfield has told Football FanCast.

The MailOnline recently reported that the Midlands club have the 23-year-old firmly in their sights, with BILD reporting that the player’s father has confirmed talks between the two clubs.

Improving Villa’s attack has been a priority for manager Dean Smith in this transfer window, with the former Brentford boss signing Emiliano Buendia from Norwich City before making an unsuccessful move for Arsenal’s Emile Smith Rowe.

And now, with the Smith Rowe saga over, the Villa boss has moved on to Bailey as he looks to bolster his offensive options further.

For Hatfield, it is a deal he feels Villa will be confident about getting done. On the club’s pursuit of the player, the Express & Star journalist said:

“Villa will be very confident in themselves with any bid that they go in with. I don’t think there’s any bid that they put down where they think, ‘We’re not going to get this player.’

“I imagine they’re very confident with the bid which they’re going to try and put in. I don’t know whether they’ve put in a bid already, there’s some reports saying they have, some reports saying they’re considering one.

“But he’s clearly a player they like and they’ll be confident in trying to bring him to Villa Park.”

Villa fans will surely be delighted to hear the above because Bailey is a quality player and showed as much last season.

The Jamaica international had a very productive campaign, coming up with close to 30 goal contributions in all competitions for Leverkusen.
